FRIDAY JUNE 6th: http://blogs.evtrib.com/nerdvana/comics/phoenix-comicon-2014-countdown-music-and-comedy-menagerie/99908 Nerd Poetry Slam at Phoenix Comicon 2014 @ Phoenix Convention Center. If you’ve never attended the Nerd Poetry Slam, you are in for an awesome surprise. The local lyrists featured at this event are as talented and entertaining as any you’ll see on the national stage. In fact, some of these poets, including show host, The Klute, are national competitors. I highly recommend this event for its ultra-fun and intelligence.
